Created from colourful knitted textiles and paper, this stop-motion animation follows a giant Yeti as they confront self-doubt and attempt to cycle up a steep mountain range. Hand-embroidered facial expressions bring Yeti’s emotions to life. Rich in humour and optimism, the work celebrates the power of believing in yourself.

Donna Wilson is an Aberdeenshire-born designer renowned for her imaginative use of colour, texture and craft. Since graduating from the Royal College of Art, she has developed a distinctive practice spanning textiles, illustration, product design and installation, reflecting her fascination with making, storytelling and character design.

Co-commissioned by Aberdeen Performing Arts and New Media Scotland’s Alt-w Fund.
