As part of the BFI 'Days of Fear and Wonder' Sci-Fi season Peaches Christ introduces an Atmosphere screening of Roger Vadim's 1968 classic 'Barbarella' with an out-of-this-world pre-show starring San Francisco's own Lady Bear.

Additional roles will be filled by fellow San Franciscan bon-vivants Hugz Bunny and Shemantha, UK performers the Ultra Violets, Cheddar Gorgeous and Anna Phylactic plus local guests from Glasgow. Dress Code: 41st Century Chic.

For the past 35 years, Glasgow Film Theatre has occupied a unique place in the cultural life of Glasgow. It's legendary predecessor the Cosmo would have had a birthday this May also, it’s 70th in fact.

So we're helping Mr Cosmo celebrate. There will be classic movies, behind the scenes tours, a chance to catch up with cast and crew plus a selection of atmospheric interactives in cinema one from yours truly.
