Once a year on the anniversary of PechaKucha’s founding we celebrate creativity worldwide, and the amazing interconnectedness of cities all over. PechaKucha Global Night is the time where we recognise that we are not alone, but part of something greater.
PechaKucha Night was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for "chit chat", the format is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds.
