Edinburgh International Film Festival 2017 presents an 80th anniversary screening of Michael Powell’s first major feature, presented on Edinburgh’s remarkable FloWave Ocean Energy Research Facility wave tank.

During this Atmosphere screening, 2.4 million litres of water will be manipulated to mimic the cinematic seascapes depicted in this tale of evacuation of a remote island community off the Scottish coast inspired by St. Kilda.
