The Stitch Lounge is a quarterly open lab incorporating sewing machines and studio space for people to come together, share knowledge and make things.

This time it's our pleasure to collaborate with Materialise on two levels of workshop, beginners and intermediate. However, for those ladies and gentlemen who need no assistance, we offer open sewing sessions all weekend where by you bring your ideas and we provide the rest.

Catwalk Show, Sunday 26th February, 6.30pm.

The challenge is to create a completely new piece for our Stitch Lounge collection that will be the highlight of our free public catwalk show on Sunday. Kicking off the show will be a one-of-a-kind collaboration between fashion designer Jacob Birge and artist Kristina Johansen.

And finally we're proud to offer a delicious lunch by this season's Stitch Kitchen - Union of Genius. This event is free but booking is required. We are generously supported by Singer Sewing Machines. The Stitch Lounge was launched by New Media Scotland in May 2011.
