LateLab | Time and Relative Dissonance, Inspace.
Friday 22nd November 2013, 7 for 7.30pm.
Inspace, 1 Crichton Street, Edinburgh EH8 9AB
Music is more than notes on a page, more than acoustic events registered by our brain, more than a magnificent experience that agitates the soul; music is a sonic tool with which time can be tricked.
From the short sequence of notes that instantly transports us back to a specific time and place to the engrossing tune that can appear as a rift in the very fabric of the universe; music plays fast and loose with our perception of reality.
We invite you to join us on a musical journey through time and space that's bigger on the inside.
