The work 'factory' by cellist and composer Peter Gregson was commissioned to mark the 10th birthday of New Media Scotland. The work was premiered at the CCA Glasgow as part of the Alt-win.ning event on Thursday July 2nd 2009.
Choreographer and dancer Sue Hawksley created a networked dance performance to 'factory' utiising Distance Lab's Mutsugoto body-drawing communicator.
Each of the tracks is 140 seconds long and was mashed with tweets by Netwurker Mez and Hannu Rajaniemi using the VoiceOver functionality of the iPod Shuffle.
Peter Gregson wore Aeolia stretch sensor wearables during the premiere performance developed by Alt-w awarded artist Sarah Kettley and her team.
