Dialogues | Quasar Saxophone Quartet

Celebrated for its energy, audacity and exceptional technical ability, the Quasar saxophone quartet explore different aspects of artistic creation from instrumental music to live electronics, from improvisation to instrumental theatre.

The quartet aims to contribute to the development of musical language and provide a platform for new music experiments, exploration and production. The quartet were Opus prize 'Performer of the Year' in 2012.

They have performed worldwide and regularly broadcast on Radio-Canada and the CBC. They are supported by the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, the Canada Council for the Arts and the Conseil des arts de Montréal.
