Providing fresh perspectives on visual art, Festival Detours is a series of intimate live performances in Edinburgh's leading galleries by stars from the worlds of music, poetry and theatre. Edinburgh-based Meursault will perform in the surroundings of our Alt-w exhibition.

Meursault are a Scottish indie rock band formed in 2006. Led by singer-songwriter Neil Pennycook, the band's musical style has been categorised as folktronica, alternative rock and indie folk. Pennycock will play solo and unplugged in this his last performance as Meursault.
